Senior Product Manager – Surgical – Medtronic

Responsibilities
* Own and drive the SigniaTM and TriStapleTM Advanced Surgical Stapling strategy, aligned to Surgical and Global priorities across ANZ.
* Convert market, clinical, customer, and competitive insights into clear strategic choices and growth initiatives through the Annual Marketing Leadership Plan (MLP).
* Lead portfolio lifecycle planning including demand planning, SKU rationalisation, and innovation adoption with broader strategic thinking beyond the annual plan.
* Influence stakeholders without authority.
* Accountable for portfolio performance including revenue growth, share development, pricing integrity, and margin protection.
* Partner with Finance, Contracts, Regulatory, HEPR and Enterprise teams on healthcare economics, tenders and pricing strategy.
* Identify risks, opportunities and mitigation plans across public and private segments.
* Lead New Product Launch Excellence from business case through execution and post-launch optimisation, including Hugo RAS – tethered technology.
* Define and refine value propositions, messaging, and differentiation for key customer segments.
* Own the sales enablement strategy for the portfolio – tools, messaging, and cadence.
* Act as senior portfolio representative in major customer meetings and conferences, clinical forums, and strategic accounts.
* Lead collaboration with Global Marketing, Medical Education, Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, and Clinical teams, representing ANZ needs, insights and challenges back into Global forums.
* Ensure all portfolio activities are compliant with competition law, regulatory standards, and Medtronic policies.
* Contribute to broader Surgical and CSI initiatives beyond own portfolio.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications at Degree level in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing or related field.
* Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Marketing or Sales.
* Demonstrated success selling or marketing Medtronic's Surgical Stapling portfolio is preferred.
* Demonstrated success with complex sales or marketing initiatives.
* Strong understanding of hospital systems, procurement, and ANZ healthcare dynamics.
