Working in close partnership with operational leaders, you will plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, compliant training that supports safety, quality, and operational excellence. Job Description
Your new day-to-day:
* Plan, deliver, and assess training programs across meat processing and feedlot operations
* Coordinate and deliver site inductions, ensuring new employees transition into the business safely and professionally
* Conduct on-the-job and off-the-job competency assessments in line with industry requirements
* Maintain training records, matrices, and learning systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Partner with supervisors and managers to identify training needs and address capability gaps
* Develop, review, and update work instructions and training materials to ensure currency
* Support operational compliance with quality, safety, HR, and customer standards
* Collaborate with Quality and Safety teams to assess risks and embed safe work instructions
* Monitor training impacts related to equipment, process, or organisational changes
* Prepare training reports and provide insight into training activity and priorities
* Champion effective knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the site
Desired Skills and Experience
What you'll need:
* Strong communication skills; confident training a diverse workforce
* Experience as a line leader, leading hand, trainer, or supervisor in an abattoir (any area)
* Exposure to training delivery plus safety and/or QA (quality) requirements
* Capability across the training cycle: plan, deliver, assess, and evaluate training
* Organised and detail-focused: accurate training records, matrices and systems (LMS/iLeader)
* Feedlot/livestock knowledge (preferred)
This role requires a flexible approach (including start times) and ability to work across Inverell/Myola as needed.
