Key Responsibilities
Research and prepare news segments for on-air presentation including sport and weather in separate segments ready to play out at the top of the hour.
Read news bulletins live or pre-recorded for broadcast.
Ensure all news content is accurate, impartial and appropriate for our audience.
Ensure the broadcast is 3 minutes long.
Collaborate with producers and other volunteers to maintain a consistent news schedule.
Uphold Cherri Radio's values of inclusivity, respect, and community focus.
Additional Requirements
Must be 18 years or older Outgoing and friendly personality Reliable Access to a good quality microphone if broadcasting or recording
