Support Worker – Full Time

Salary: £36,784.80 – £40,300 per year (including 3 sleep-ins per week)
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone's life every day.
About the role
You will be supporting an individual with autism and a Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) profile, so a clear understanding of both is essential. The role requires someone who can build strong, trusting relationships, maintain clear and consistent boundaries, and bring energy, creativity, and flexibility to the support they provide.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs

* Maintain professional boundaries while creating a relaxed and supportive environment
* Communicate effectively with the wider multi‐disciplinary team (MDT)

* Good understanding of autism and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)
* Ability to engage in meaningful conversations while maintaining professional boundaries

* Unqualified (before probation): £36,784.80
* Unqualified (after probation): £38,864.80

Experience
* Working with individuals with autism: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (preferred)
