This role needs someone who can jump right in and make a difference from the start, so prior experience as an Parts Warehouse Person/Driver—or in a similar position—would be advantageous.
The successful applicant will work within our Parts Distribution Centre supporting our 13 new car brands, used car reconditioning and our 2 vehicle service centre locations.
Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for your immediate processes and work with peers and customers in a professional and timely manner.
* Facilitate efficient parts handling.
* Effectively respond to and follow up all enquiries within reasonable time frames.
* Maintain warehouse and location policies and procedures.
* Work as a valuable member in a team environment.
* Utilise computer systems and programs efficiently and input data accurately.
* Provide superior levels of customer service.
* Perform other duties as required, time to time, as directed by the parts manager.
Skills & Experience
* Experienced and motivated store person and driver with prior vehicle parts experience.
* Thorough understanding of warehousing and locations.
* Sound computer skills with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Working knowledge of Pentana DMS.
* Multi‐franchise experience is an advantage.
* Positive attitude and ability to work with others toward business objectives.
* Manual driver's licence is essential.
