We are a well-established national law firm specialising in complex transactional work across public and private markets. Our Corporate Services function plays a critical role in supporting legal teams and leadership, ensuring smooth financial and operational performance across the business.
About the role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is integral to the day-to-day finance operations. You'll work closely with senior finance stakeholders and support a broad range of accounting functions.
Key responsibilities include
* Daily bank reconciliations and transaction processing
* Accounts Payable processing, including disbursements
* Preparation and uploading of weekly payment runs
* Credit card and expense management
* Supporting month-end reporting and data preparation
* Accounts Receivable support, including billing and debtor follow-ups
* Maintaining accuracy across financial systems (Xero & ActionStep)
About you
* Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting (professional services desirable)
* Intermediate skills in Xero and Microsoft Office (essential)
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Professional communication skills and a client-focused mindset
* Experience with ActionStep (highly regarded)
