Join our dynamic team in Parkes as an Operations Manager for the Telescope Tyres Group, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and workplace safety. Reporting to the General Manager of OTR & Operations and the General Manager of Sales & Marketing, you'll oversee plant and equipment management, ensure stringent workplace health and safety (WHS) standards, and property management through hands‑on leadership. Key Responsibilities
Oversee property, vehicles, plant, and equipment, including maintenance, scheduling, and process optimisation to maximise efficiency and availability.
Manage and enforce WHS protocols through training, audits, and incident management.
Develop and ensure logistics management for all locations.
Inventory management oversight at all locations.
Align operational activities with sales demands for all locations.
Manage operational budgets in conjunction with location managers.
Maintain strong vendor relationships for equipment procurement and aftersales service.
Lead and develop teams to achieve performance and development goals.
Provide detailed operational and safety reports to General Managers.
Preferred candidate profile
Reliable and dedicated person with drive and energy.
Minimum 5 years operational management experience.
Automotive industry experience is highly desirable.
Strong commercial acumen.
Sound financial experience, including P&L interpretation and justification.
Proven track record driving cost saving and business growth projects.
Ability to work in an agile, fast‑paced environment.
