Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and distributing goods at our distribution centre and hospital locations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive and inspect goods for quality and quantity
* Distribute goods to internal customers in a timely and efficient manner
* Pick, pack, and dispatch orders as required
* Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments
* Ensure compliance with clinical and infectious control standards
* Assist with unloading goods and operating materials handling equipment
* Perform physical counting and recording of stock as per the stock-take policy and procedure
* Backfill Theatre Supply Officers as required
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
* Valid Light Rigid Heavy Vehicle Drivers License
* Current Forklift License (LHRW)
* Basic computer skills and ability to use software applications
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Physical capability to perform all functions required by this position
