Laboratory Technician
Her e's your chance to gain hands-on experience in the mining industry.Were currently seeking an entry-level Sample Preparation Technician to join a mineralogy laboratory in Brisbane. This is a great opportunity for recent school leavers or candidates who completed Year 12 with a science subject and are looking to gain hands-on lab experience.
Whats on offer:
* Flexible part-time hours hours per week)
* Work between 8am5pm across 23 days
* Gain experience in a professional mineral processing laboratory
* Great entry point into mining, laboratory and mineral processing industries.
About the role:
* Splitting and screening mineral samples
* Preparing polished sample blocks for SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) analysis
* Working within an industrial laboratory environment
* Assisting with general sample preparation duties.
What were looking for:
* Completed Year 12
* Ideally studied a science subject at school
* Strong attention to detail
* Reliable with a good work ethic
* Interest in science, mining or laboratory work.
Great opportunity to gain industry experience and develop practical laboratory skills.
