Environmental Engineer / Scientist Graduate Opportunity
We're seeking a highly motivated and talented Environmental Engineer or Scientist to join our dynamic Contamination Assessment & Remediation team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of professionals on challenging projects that contribute to the sustainability of energy, water, and communities.
As an Environmental Engineer or Scientist, you will be responsible for implementing environmental investigations, including field investigations with drilling, monitoring well and soil vapour installation oversight, coordinating environmental monitoring, and assisting with data compilation and interpretation.
You will also assist with field scope development, scheduling, and budgeting, as well as preparing technical environmental reports for senior review.
Additionally, you will maintain safety training to conduct environmental contaminated sites work.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Graduate degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or equivalent;
* 0-2 years of experience in environmental consulting;
* Strong interest in chemistry, soil, groundwater, contamination assessment, and remediation methods;
* Knowledge of contaminated sites regulation and associated guidance, protocols, and guidelines;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
