About the Role
Toshiba currently has an chance for someone with hands‑on experience in High Voltage (HV) Motors to join our team based in Sydney, specialising in industrial power systems. This role is responsible for providing HV motor expertise, including project coordination and hands‑on knowledge for the operation of the HV motor product group.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to interpret customer specification and make technical/commercial offers based on the information received from the supply chain.
- Technical sales support.
- Application Engineering.
- Prepare and provide solutions to customer requirements.
- Co‑ordinate technical support for HV products before and after sales.
- Project / Contract management.
- Ensure product is compliant with the relevant regulations and standards.
- Liaising with factory commercial and technical team.
- Provide product presentations.
Our ideal candidate will possess
- Highly experienced credentials with HV motors, or a Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering with HV motor experience.
- High practical level experience with HV motors.
- Experience with HV motors, project management, technical support and motor application experience.
- An understanding of the mining, oil & gas and water pumping industry.
- Familiar with the electric motor application in the industrial equipment such as grinding mills, conveyors, pumps, fans, compressors etc.
- Possess skills in attention to detail and have an analytical mindset.
- Be able to effectively work individually and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to actively drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Proficient in the MS Office suite of software.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Fluent in written and spoken English language.
