Employment & Workplace Relations Lawyer
We are seeking an experienced Employment & Workplace Relations Lawyer to join our team on a contract basis.
About the Role:
* Assist clients in drafting, interpreting and advising on employment agreements and company policies and procedures.
* Advise on and manage industrial relation issues faced by clients.
* Provide guidance on workplace issues including terminations, grievances and disciplinary processes.
* Interpret employment legislation such as the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth).
* Conduct litigation such as unfair dismissal, general protections and breach of contract claims.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting and interpreting employment agreements and company policies and procedures.
* Advising on industrial relations issues and providing guidance on workplace matters.
* Litigating on behalf of clients in unfair dismissal, general protections and breach of contract claims.
* Staying up-to-date with employment legislation and its implications for clients.
Requirements:
* 4-10+ years' PAE experience in employment law.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with partners and clients.
* Practical, strategic legal advice and experience in litigation.
