Location: Port Pirie
Responsibilities
* Assist and support the Registered Nurse in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing and personal care.
* Contribute to the formulation of client care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
* Provide client care in accordance with the care plan, relevant legislation, contemporary care standards and Helping Hand philosophy, policy and procedures.
* Support team development and induction of new workers by promoting, encouraging, and fostering workplace learning.
Qualifications
* Diploma of Enrolled Nursing
* A current AHPRA registration
* Demonstrated information technology literacy, including skills in healthcare technology (database) and communication platforms (email, online).
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including preparation of routine documentation such as care notes and incident reports.
* Understanding of quality assurance and continuous improvement.
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willingness to obtain one.
Preferred Experience
* Previous experience in the aged‐care sector.
* Understanding of aged‐care sector issues and accreditation standards.
* Post‐basic qualifications relevant to aged care.
* Current First Aid certificate.
