About the role
jared poole design, a dynamic architectural firm located on the Gold Coast, Queensland, is seeking a talented Architect or Architectural Draftsperson to join our growing team. This full-time role will involve working closely with our architects and designers to bring our clients' visions to life through innovative design solutions.
What you'll be doing
* Collaborate with the design team to develop conceptual drawings through to detailed construction plans for predominately commercial, and mixed-use projects throughout Australia.
* Assist with the preparation of local council applications and liaise with local authorities throughout the approval process.
* Provide technical support and respond to queries from clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
* Stay abreast of the latest trends, building regulations and design software.
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualification in Architecture or a related field
* Proven experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use architectural design, preferably within a similar size practice
* Strong proficiency in CAD software, such as ArchiCAD or Revit, and the ability to produce high-quality, detailed drawings
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
* Passion for architectural design and a commitment to creating innovative, functional, and visually appealing spaces
* Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and design standards
