Seamstress / Alterations Specialist – Two Bays Laundry | Organic Dry Cleaning and Alterations (Mornington)
Two Bays Laundry is growing fast, and we're looking for a skilled Seamstress/Alterations Specialist to join our friendly team. About the Role
This position focuses primarily on garment alterations and repairs, with some light laundry and pressing duties at the beginning as we ramp up operations. You'll be working in a modern, clean, and well-organised facility with top-quality equipment.
We are open to casual, part-time, and full-time positions, and offer an attractive salary based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Performing garment alterations using sewing machines and hand-finishing tools
2. Providing customer service, including POS operation, handling payments and assisting with customer enquiries
3. Sorting, washing, drying, and folding customer laundry
4. Operating finishing machines (e.g. steam presses)
5. Maintaining a tidy and clean workspace and equipment
6. Performing other duties as reasonably directed
