We are a Port Hedland Locally owned business made up of qualified Heavy Duty Mechanics, Light Vehicle Mechanics, Auto Electrician, HV Electricians, Boilermakers, and more.
We're seeking mechanics with experience on Scania and other European truck platforms, confident in diagnostics, electrical systems, and modern OEM technology.
As the Northwest Scania Dealer, Finmec is positioned at the front of the region's transition to Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) meaning you'll gain exposure to emerging BEV truck technology, diagnostics, and maintenance practices as this fleet grows in the coming years.
Position
* Heavy Road Transport (HRT) - Workshop Based & Field Service - Mine Site work.
* Field service vehicle provided for this role
Roster
* 5/2 (Weekday) or 10/4 - Port Hedland Local ONLY.
* 2/1 - Available FIFO Ex. Perth.
* 2/2 or 4/2 - Available FIFO Ex. East.

To be considered for this position you will need:
* Australian Recognised Trade Certificate as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or applicable qualification.
* Excellent electrical diagnosis skills.
* Ability to work unsupervised.
* Commitment to Safe Work Practices.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen.
