The Opportunity
Sales Consultants (Member Support Consultants) at our St Leonards club are the driving force behind the success of Fitness First. They are the first people to interact with our members and have inspired thousands of people to begin their journey toward becoming more active, fulfilled and confident. No two days are the same, and you will interact with people from all walks of life, driving membership growth by performing outreach activities, generating and converting leads, and aiding membership retention through exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
* Proactively contribute to club sales budget utilising sales promotions and referral campaigns
* Generate and convert high‑quality sales leads through community outreach, seeking referrals, and identifying new business opportunities
* Achieve the required number of lead contacts via telephone to maximise sales opportunities
* Provide sales presentations and tours to prospective members
* Create great member journeys via positive and personalised interactions
* Achieve successful outcomes to enquiries
* Open and close the club as per the club roster
* Actively involve in member retention programmes, inspiring members to continue their fitness journey
* Conduct regular service calls to new and existing members to keep them engaged and recommend club‑based products that boost their results and amplify their experience
Requirements
* Current First Aid & CPR certificate
* A problem‑solving mindset – you can provide solutions that meet the needs of potential members
* A gift for communication – you can talk to anyone with ease and inspire them to take action
* Drive – you are goal‑focused and continuously look for new ways to excel yourself
* A team player – you can rally through the hard times and celebrate personal and team success
* Customer focused – you can build rapport with people of all backgrounds and are motivated to help them achieve their goals
