Senior Procurement Officer – Own It End-to-End
We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to take full ownership of procurement across the utilities operations & maintenance business, supporting all programs and projects nationally. The role can be based out of our offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, or North Sydney.

About the Role
Supporting ongoing maintenance work and new projects, priorities shift and procurement plays a key role in keeping things moving. Working closely with the commercial manager, operational leaders, and project teams, the role spans sourcing and RFQs through to award, purchasing, supplier management, and tender support. It is fast‐paced, hands‐on, and suited to someone who can respond to immediate needs while navigating future procurement needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Run procurement from sourcing and RFQs through to award and supplier management.
* Work closely with operational teams, project managers, and the commercial manager.
* Procure a broad mix, from equipment and vehicles to services, property, and inventory.
* Support tenders and help shape commercial outcomes.
* Manage suppliers and ensure smooth operations in a high‐risk, safety‐critical environment.

About You
* Procurement experience in utilities, energy, construction, or infrastructure.
* Comfortable managing high‐value, varied spend end‐to‐end.
* Ability to operate as the sole procurement lead and get things done.
* Knowledge of procurement systems and governance (SAP experience is a plus).
* Proactive, practical approach with strong planning.
* Quick understanding of operational needs in safety‐critical environments.
