Asset Manager
As an Asset Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of Project outcomes across QLD Correctional Centre's. This will require preparation, planning, executing and controlling all aspects of the project and service assets either directly or through delegation with the on‐site facility team. Successful delivery requires monitoring and controlling of all assets within the corrections team through collaboration with site technicians, supervisors, engineers and managers.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and update asset management plan
* Develop and prepare project outlines for large capital and lifecycle projects
* Maintain and update asset data, including condition to be presented to the client
* Maintain up-to-date lifecycle forecasts for asset data and deliver the annual works plan per the Lifecycle Asset Management Plan
* Manage and maintain spare parts schedules to meet customer contract requirements.
Key Experience & Capabilities
* At least 3 years relevant Asset management experience
* Ability to successfully obtain clearance to work in a prison environment (essential)
* Proven experience in facilities and asset management
* Working knowledge of asset lifecycles and experience with condition assessments
* Work history on large commercial sites or correctional facilities (Preferred)
* Excellent computer skills and expert in Excel (desired)
* Commitment to customer satisfaction
* Ability to identify technical solutions to customers' business needs
* Excellent written and oral communication and negotiating skills
* Self‐motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision
* Flexible, and ability to work under pressure on a fast‐paced environment
