Where you'll be working
Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital. Hornsby Hospital’s Acute General Surgical ward provides an environment where you can enhance your clinical skills to develop and strengthen expertise in various clinical procedures. You'll work closely with the multi-disciplinary team, fostering collaboration and learning from experts in different specialties.
Our Acute General Surgical ward is a 28 bedded unit consisting of general surgical, gynaecological, vascular, and plastic surgeries. You will be working as part of a hardworking, dedicated, and friendly surgical multi-disciplinary team.
What you’ll be doing
The enrolled nurse will be working in a busy, fast paced ward setting, caring for adult patients with a wide range of surgical presentations. This is a challenging and rewarding role supported by a structured training pathway designed by the Clinical Nurse Educator & Clinical Nurse Consultant.
Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria

- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic computer skills.
