The Opportunity
The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting for a Parliamentary Executive Level 1 Agile Project Manager within Library Collections and Systems.
The Agile Project Manager (PEL1) role sits within the Library Collections and Systems Branch, delivering critical digital systems and creative projects for the Parliamentary Library.
You will lead ICT and Library projects, manage Agile delivery using Azure DevOps, and support adoption and continuous improvement of Agile practices in the Library. You will manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met. You will oversee sprint cycles and Agile workflows, driving collaboration and continuous improvement across teams. You will build productive relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and parliamentary departments to keep projects aligned and successful.

Who we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in delivering complex ICT and/or Library projects. You will be confident managing multiple streams of work with competing priorities, using Agile methodologies. You will be an effective communicator and facilitator, capable of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and vendors and experienced in navigating government procurement processes. Importantly, you will bring a collaborative mindset and a passion for Agile coaching, supporting teams and stakeholders to adopt and mature Agile practices across the library.
Job Specific Requirements
- Certifications and experience using AgilePM, Agile Scrum, Prince2 Agile, Prince2 or other industry standard frameworks/methodologies.
- Experience using Azure DevOps or equivalent platforms for Agile project delivery
- The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (Protected/Restricted) security clearance.
