Role Overview
You will serve as a key safety figure, ensuring children, parents, teachers and motorists remain safe during school zone hours at Dobroyd Point Public School.
Responsibilities
* Supervise school crossings between 8:30–9:30AM and 3:00–4:00PM, Monday to Friday.
* Work 20 hours of supervision per fortnight, with 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon.
* Maintain continuous communication with parents, teachers and staff to report any potential hazards.
* Appear as a familiar and reliable presence during all weather conditions.
* Collaborate with school staff to coordinate safe traffic management during school holiday periods.
Qualifications
* Must be 18 years of age or older at time of appointment.
* Community‐mindful, reliable, and able to communicate effectively.
* Willingness to obtain (or renewal of) a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check and a Health Assessment.
* Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.
* Training, uniforms and equipment will be provided.
