The role
We're looking for a full-time Project Support Officer to join our Armidale office. This role will play a key part in environmental compliance, monitoring, licensing, data collection and preparation of reports, while also supporting Project Managers across a diverse range of projects. At times, you'll find yourself working in the field and as such this role will include some day and overnight travel.
How you'll do this
· Provide project support to Project Managers and Client Managers, both administratively and on site
· Maintain and update the annual Licensing Calendar and liaise with clients
· Accurate sample collation, preparation and handling
· Undertake occasional field investigations and assessments, including travel
· Project administration tasks, as required
· Assist with project scoping, budgets and proposal development
· Procure project-related items within budget
· Support project completion in line with business protocols
· Build and maintain cooperative relationships with clients, government agencies and peers
· Comply with ISO 9001 systems and HSEQ protocols
About you
· Tertiary qualifications in Agricultural Science, Applied Science, Environmental Science or other relevant field
· Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role
· Practical fieldwork experience
· Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
· Confident communicator who can build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
· Current open Class C manual driver's licence
· White Card (preferred)
· First Aid certificate (preferred)
