About PBG

Professional Building Group (PBG) is an established insurance building company delivering high-quality repair outcomes for policyholders across Australia. Our focus is simple — deliver efficient, high-quality repairs while supporting customers through what is often a stressful time.

Due to continued growth and expansion into the Northern NSW and South East Queensland region, we are seeking an experienced Insurance Building Supervisor to join our team.

This is a full-cycle supervisory role that will play an important part in helping establish and grow our presence in the region.

About the Role

As an Insurance Building Supervisor, you will manage insurance repair projects from initial assessment through to completion.

You will be responsible for assessing property damage, developing scopes of work and repair estimates, coordinating trades, and ensuring repairs are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This role will primarily service Northern NSW and South East Queensland, with occasional travel required across mid and northern NSW as we continue expanding operations.

You will also assist in developing and strengthening our contractor network in the region, helping ensure we have the right trades and partners in place to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct on-site assessments of residential and small commercial insurance claims
* Prepare detailed scopes of work and repair estimates (Prime Ecosystem experience advantageous)
* Coordinate and manage repairs from assessment through to completion
* Liaise with insurers, policyholders, trades, and internal teams to progress claims efficiently
* Provide technical building advice and recommendations
* Ensure repairs comply with Australian building standards and insurer requirements
* Monitor job progress, timelines and quality of repairs
* Assist with developing and managing a reliable contractor network in the region
* Maintain clear and professional communication with customers throughout the repair process
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as an Insurance Building Supervisor / Assessor
* Cert IV or Diploma in Building & Construction (required)
* QBCC Supervisor Licence (preferred)
* Cert III in Carpentry (preferred)
* Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and Australian building standards
* Ability to interpret engineering reports, scopes and insurance documentation
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously
* Experience using estimating or job management systems (Prime Ecosystem highly regarded)
* Current driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region
