Truck Driver – Kalgoorlie WA Kogan People Solutions, recruiters, are working to assist our client who operates a successful and growing commodity transportation service across WA's Goldfields region.
Equipped with a modern fleet consisting of doubles (two trailers), triples (three trailers), and a quad (four trailers) this business provides transportation of goods such as sand, rocks, soil, and other high value commodities with the depot based in Kalgoorlie WA.
As the business continues to grow, our client is seeking a professional and experienced MC licensed truck driver who can deliver outstanding and reliable service for their customers.
Salary: A great salary is offered in range of $85k to $95k plus superannuation per annum.
Tenure: Full-time and ongoing.
Location: Based in Kalgoorlie WA Responsibilities include: Safely operate road trains to transport various commodities.
Loading, unloading, and securing loads to prevent damage or spoilage, adhering to safety and hygiene regulations.
Regularly inspecting the vehicle to ensure it's in good working condition.
This includes checking tires, brakes, lights, and other critical parts.
Planning and following the most efficient routes to save time and fuel.
Keeping accurate records of deliveries, maintenance checks, and any incidents.
Coordinating with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
Quickly and effectively addressing any issues that arise during operations.
To be successfully considered for this role, you must have: Certificate III (or agreed substitute) in a relevant field.
Current MC license – a must.
At least 1 year (preferably more) relevant experience in this field Working knowledge of relevant guidelines and regulations.
Great customer service skills.
Strong written documentation skills.
Great accuracy in your record keeping.
Proven reliability, adherence to schedules and solid work ethic.
Willingness to share your driving record and your work history with us.
Be willing to undertake health and drug screening.
You must have unrestricted full time Australian working rights to be considered.
