Role Overview
The Men's Behaviour Change Case Manager provides assessment, counselling, outreach and group facilitation to men who use family and domestic violence, with a strong focus on accountability and the safety of women and children.
This role engages men to increase their readiness to participate in behaviour change programs, delivers one‐on‐one and group interventions, and provides secondary consultation to the Domestic and Family Violence team.
Key Responsibilities
Outreach engagement, risk assessment, case management, safety planning, referrals to relevant services, and post‐program follow‐up. The role is grounded in an intersectional feminist framework and a strong understanding of the gendered nature of family violence.
Qualifications & Experience
Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or related disciplines.
Knowledge and understanding of family domestic violence services and extensive experience in case management.
Ability to provide group facilitation.
Knowledge and/or experience in early intervention and prevention program services.
The ability to work autonomously.
