We are seeking a dynamic, motivated & creative Interior Designer & Sales Consultant to assist our clients with their residential renovation needs.
This is a contract role to fill in a staff member on maternity leave*
The successful candidate MUST be an articulate sales‑driven person who is hard working and motivated, with Interior Design experience. Previous experience in residential renovations will be highly regarded, but not critical.
The role requires a person who has a passion for residential kitchen & bathroom design.
You will be responsible for providing clients with advice on kitchen & bathroom design.
You will assist our design team with preparing documentation for clients, including drafting of plans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare floor plans & elevations
- Attend client consultations
- Documentation of client requirements
- Guiding clients through product/finishes selections (based on experience this may be with another interior designer)
- Joinery Design for kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and other home joinery
- Advising clients on relevant products and materials suitable for their needs
- Liaising with suppliers in relation to products and materials required for jobs
- Liaising with the production team regarding your client’s order and progress
- Promptly attending to all and any client inquiries throughout the process of their job
- Driving the design process through to successful completion
- Able to learn and adapt to company sales processes & procedures
Skills and Experience:
- Revit
- Experience in residential design
- Able to work with the estimating, sales and production team to meet client time frames
- Excellent planning & time management skills
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to adapt to client requirements
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy of work
- Must be organised
