Role Overview
We have multiple casual and permanent part-time opportunities for Support Services Staff in cleaning and laundry at our welcoming facility in Yackandandah, VIC.
What You Will Do (Cleaning & Laundry)
* Maintaining legislated safety, quality, and hygiene standards
* Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and living areas
* Cleaning communal and dining areas
* Cleaning and sorting laundry
* Maintaining adequate supplies of toilet paper, soap, and other cleaning and hygiene supplies for resident use.
* Adhering to infection control principles, WHS requirements including the safe storage and use of chemicals and complete cleaning requirements according to facility schedules
* Completing required documentation and reporting
* Ad hoc support to the broader team as required
What You Will Bring
* Experience gained in a similar role, preferably within an Aged Care setting (desirable)
* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Hold NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain - mandatory)
* An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes is highly regarded but not essential
