As a leading provider of building restoration and maintenance services, we are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team.
About the Role
This is a full-time position based at our head office in Port Melbourne, where you will be responsible for managing project finances, tasks, and timelines. You may also need to visit job sites around Melbourne on occasion.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Understanding project details and customers' needs in-depth.
* Assessing, approving, and negotiating contracts and contract terms.
* Creating budgets, issuing purchase orders, and approving suppliers' invoices.
* Managing project finances, tasks, and timelines.
* Completing weekly project reports and project forecasting.
* Assisting the operations manager/project manager/site foreman with project details, including programs, schedules, deliverables, and resources.
* Liaising with clients, consultants, trades, and suppliers.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A degree in construction management or quantity surveying, or equivalent experience in a building trade background or similar role.
* High-level computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project.
* Experience in contract administration.
* Proficiency in project planning, drawings knowledge, and document management.
* Financial planning and budgeting skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A full driver's license.
