Job Description
We are seeking a talented Graduate Town Planner to join our team. As a Graduate Town Planner, you will be responsible for supporting projects across both the private and public sectors, delivering on time and on budget to achieve successful, people-driven outcomes.
This is a diverse role that requires strong communication skills, self-motivation, and industry involvement. You will have a focus on client management support, project delivery, and analysis of legislation.
You will work across local and regional projects, undertaking planning assessment, investigation, and analysis of QLD and NSW legislation. This will involve participation in the preparation of comprehensive planning reports and proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake planning assessment, investigation, and analysis of QLD and NSW legislation
* Participate in the preparation of comprehensive planning reports and proposals
* Perform site visits to assist project feasibility
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary qualification in town planning
* Local Gold Coast (or SEQ) planning and development knowledge
* Knowledge of the planning act, as well as other relevant legislation
* Proactive self-starter with interest in the industry
* High level written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to work autonomously and within a team
* Australian resident
