About the Employer
The Club has spent more than a century delivering vital beach safety and lifesaving services. Providing patrols, training and education, youth development, and surf sports for members of all ages. Proudly with volunteers contributing more than 7,500 hours each season, patrolling beaches, performing rescues, preventing incidents, and administering first aid to keep the community safe.
About the Role
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment and is passionate about delivering quality events and positive experiences. You'll work closely with the Branch Manager, Committee & Club leaders, along with collaborating a broad network focused on meaningful outcomes for the Point Danger Branch.
Skills & Experience
* Strong event coordination, organisation and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work with diverse stakeholders
* Experience in administration, events, community or sporting programs
* Confident with digital communication and marketing tools
* Experience in events, marketing, surf sports, sponsorships and broad network
Duties & Responsibilities
* Deliver Branch surf sports carnivals, fundraising events and key functions.
* Manage event planning, logistics, permits and on‐the‐day coordination.
* Lead Branch events communications, marketing and member engagement.
* Promote programs and events across newsletters, social media and clubs.
* Support surf sports participation and athlete development.
* Assist with sponsorships, partnerships, fundraising and grants.
* Provide administration & operational support for Branch programs and reporting.
