About the Role
As a Service Manager, you will lead a diverse team of Team Leaders and Client Coaches, overseeing Supported Independent Living (24-hour support), In-Home Services, and Respite care. You’ll be the driving force behind high-quality, person-centred support, ensuring services are compliant with the NDIS Practice Standards and reflect Orana’s values of inclusion, dignity, and empowerment.
This role will see you engaging with clients, families, carers, and allied professionals to ensure supports are tailored, effective, and evolving to meet individual needs. Your leadership will shape a culture of excellence, collaboration, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
·Provide day-to-day leadership and operational management across multiple service types.
·Coach, support and develop Team Leaders and front-line staff to deliver consistent, high-quality services.
·Build strong relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders to enhance service outcomes.
·Ensure compliance with NDIS requirements, best practice guidelines, and organisational policies.
·Lead workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
·Support staff training and ensure team capacity aligns with client needs and funding arrangements.
·Maintain high standards in documentation, client planning, risk management, and quality assurance.
What You’ll Bring
·Certificate IV in Disability or a higher-level qualification in disability or human services.
·Strong leadership experience managing disability or health support teams.
·Deep understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and the delivery of person-centred supports.
·Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
·Experience with rostering, budget management, and performance reporting.
·Commitment to quality, safety, continuous improvement, and human rights.
·Bachelor in Developmental Education, Social Work, or similar.
·3+ years in a similar management role in the disability sector.
·Understanding of SIL, SDA, MTA and Person Centred Active Support.
·Experience in complex care environments and client behaviour support.
Requirements
·Valid Driver’s Licence (willingness to travel within the region as needed).
·NDIS Worker Check, National Police Clearance, and First Aid Certification.
·Medication Administration and CPR Certification.
·Willingness to undertake some out-of-hours on-call responsibilities.
