The Role
Reporting to the HAAMC, you will oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities for a diverse and growing helicopter fleet, ensuring resource optimisation to complete tasks efficiently and maintain fleet readiness.
Responsibilities
Schedule, coordinate and oversee maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and compliance with safety and quality regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and collaborate with fleet specialists and component shop to ensure availability of required parts and inspections for scheduled work.
Develop and maintain standard parts lists for routine tasks and maintenance procedures.
Provide regular fleet reports and maintenance schedules to HAAMC, highlighting any risks and suggested solutions.
Track and analyse maintenance performance, including aircraft downtime, delays, and task completion rates.
Ensures all aircraft records are stored in compliance with CASA/FAA Regulations and McDermott Aviation Policies and Procedures.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives around processes and procedures to drive efficiencies.
About You
Experience working as a maintenance planner, ideally in an aviation environment.
Knowledge of helicopter maintenance practices, procedures and regulatory requirements
Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems or Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul software, such as: Veryon, Aeronet, Trax, Aerotrack or MaintenX.
Strong Time Management, Attention to Detail and Communication skills.
Prior experience as a Helicopter Technician or Engineer will be highly regarded.
