Diagnostic Imaging Nurse
Apex Radiology is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Nurse to join our team at Bunbury – SWHC. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality patient care before, during, and after imaging procedures.
* Prepare patients for CT, MRI, and Ultrasound examinations, including IV cannulation.
* Maintain accurate documentation and handle specimen collection.
* Collaborate closely with Radiologists and Imaging Technicians.
* Promote a safe working environment by adhering to WHS policies and procedures.
* Contribute to smooth patient flow and appointment scheduling.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Current APHRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Qualification in IV Cannulation (essential).
* Advanced Life Support certification (preferred).
* Previous experience in surgical or radiology nursing (advantageous).
* Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management abilities.
* A collaborative mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
* High level of personal presentation and professionalism.
