The Opportunity
We are seeking Exercise Physiologists to join our team at Nowra Private Hospital. As an exercise physiologist, you will be responsible for the assessment of patients, prescription of exercises and supervising patient exercise programs. You will deliver therapy in individualised, group and hydrotherapy settings and work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Reporting to the Allied Health Manager you will primarily across our Acute Inpatient.
Reporting to the Allied Health Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Skills and Experience
- Degree in Exercise Physiology (or equivalent)
- Current Accreditation with ESSA
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience working as an Exercise Physiologist
- Current NDIS Workers Check
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High standard of customer service and a team approach
- Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence based practice
- Understanding of quality improvement principles
- Flexible, positive approach to work
- Experience working in a hospital or rehabilitation setting (desirable)
Remuneration
On offer is hourly base salary ranging from $38.26 - $55.42 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
