Compliance and Community Engagement Officer
The Compliance and Community Engagement Officer will play a vital role in ensuring community compliance with legislation and promoting public safety and amenity.
This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies, as well as experience in animal control and enforcement.

* Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure Council has appointed an Authorised Officer to facilitate community compliance with legislation.
* Assist in enhancing community safety and public amenity through education.
* Investigate complaints and breaches of legislation.
* Perform Assistant Municipal Fire Prevention Officer duties.
* Assist in achieving Council's key purposes.
The Compliance and Community Engagement Officer will work closely with the Local Laws Coordinator and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of duties.
