Brief Description
Purpose of the Role
As the Senior Manager Digital Communications you will lead, coach and develop a large team of Digital Consultants and Team Leaders to engage in high-quality written customer communication through web chat, email and social media. This role can be based at our North Lakes or Sunshine Coast location, with an expectation of some weekly travel between locations.
This is a fixed-term role, available for 12 months from June 2025.
You Will
* Contribute to and support the development of the Department’s strategic and operational objectives
* Lead the optimisation and continual improvement of digital communications through the Genesys Cloud platform
* Lead, motivate, and inspire a large team of Digital Communications Professionals to deliver exceptional customer service, whilst fostering a culture of high performance with high integrity
* Develop and implement effective coaching and training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of Team Leaders and Digital Communications Consultants
* Provide support to the Leadership Team to enable Digital Communications Teams to deliver exceptional customer service whilst meeting and exceeding KPI's including analysing these KPIs to identify areas for improvement to processes or systems
* Identify and nurture talent within the team, providing opportunities for growth and development
* Contribute to the planning & implementation of contact centre strategies and operations; monitor system performance with an ongoing improvement strategy to ensure best practise is optimal
* Enhance contact centre operations through issue resolution, action planning, performance analysis, and continuous improvement of systems, processes, and quality programs
Knowledge And Experience
* Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, mentoring & managing high-performing teams within a contact centre environment
* Previous experience with Genesys Cloud highly regarded
* Ability to make informed decisions to support the operational needs of the business
* A sound understanding of the general insurance industry, including product knowledge, Digital Communication processes, and customer service best practices along with an understanding of the legislative, regulatory and compliance obligations to operate in the Financial Services Regulatory environment
* High level conceptual, analytical & problem-solving skills and able to develop innovative solutions to problems
