Marketing and Graphic Design Coordinator
Established in 1956, Pezzano Enterprises is Perth's largest wholesale fruit and vegetable supplier, serving over 60% of WA's most decorated chefs and credible establishments. A family-owned and operated business, Pezzano supplies premium fresh produce, meat, seafood, dairy, specialty products and exclusive house brands to the hospitality industry, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing and Graphic Design Coordinator to join our team on a full time basis. This is a standalone marketing role reporting directly to the Director, with close collaboration across our sales and management teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of Pezzano's marketing output, from social media strategy and content creation through to graphic design, digital assets and brand communications. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable behind a camera, in a design program and in a strategic conversation. Given the nature of a fast moving wholesale environment, the ideal candidate has strong initiative, is adaptable and takes genuine pride in the quality of their work.
Key Responsibilities
* Social media management across Instagram and other relevant platforms, including content planning, caption writing, reel production and community engagement.
* Collaborating with the Director and key stakeholders to develop and execute content strategies that reflect the seasonal, story driven nature of the Pezzano brand.
* Graphic design across a broad range of applications including point of sale materials, seasonal and market update flyers, brand information sheets, signage, packaging artwork, posters and merchandise.
* Video editing and production of short form content for social media using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent.
* Website maintenance via WordPress, including updating brand information, product listings and imagery as required.
* Planning and coordinating the tri-monthly Pezzano catalogue magazine, including liaising with internal stakeholders for approval and distribution to the sales team and external partners.
* Managing and optimising paid social media advertising including Instagram boosts and ad campaigns.
* Liaising with sales representatives, category managers and external suppliers and growers to develop relevant, timely and engaging content.
* Contributing to campaign planning and seasonal marketing initiatives.
Tools and Software
The following tools are used in this role. Proficiency in the core tools is essential, familiarity with the advanced tools is highly regarded:
* Core: Canva, CapCut, Microsoft Outlook, Excel
* AI tools: ChatGPT and/or Claude, used for strategy development, caption writing and content ideation
Hours and Remuneration
This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, based at our Canning Vale facility.
About You
You have a background in marketing, graphic design or a related field and can demonstrate experience across both digital content and print design. You are comfortable working autonomously in a fast paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. You take initiative, communicate proactively and understand that in a business that operates seven days a week, flexibility and responsiveness are valued.
Experience in the food, hospitality or wholesale industry is advantageous but not essential. What matters most is skill, speed and a genuine enthusiasm for the work.
