We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the commercial and contractual management of our projects, ensuring risks are identified and managed with variations and claims processed accurately.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end administration of contracts and subcontracts, including review, negotiation, execution, and ongoing compliance.
* Prepare and issue tender packages, manage procurement schedules, and evaluate subcontractor submissions in collaboration with the project team.
* Develop, prepare, and submit monthly progress claims to clients, ensuring accuracy, supporting documentation, and alignment with contract entitlements.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on contract requirements and commercial matters.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring multiple years of experience in Contract Administration within a Tier 1 or similar company on large-scale infrastructure projects.
You will hold a tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Law, Commerce, or a related discipline. Training in relevant standard form contracts is desirable.
You will have Strong knowledge of Australian construction law, contract frameworks, and legislative obligations, a high attention to detail with strong stakeholder skills, analytical and commercial acumen. As the preferred candidate you will have the ability to interpret and apply contractual terms, scopes of work, and technical specifications.
