Special services accounting administrator

Responsible for overseeing accounting tasks within the special services team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with accounting standards.

* Provide guidance and support to team members in completing less complex accounting tasks.
* Handle escalated or more complex accounting issues that arise within the special services department.
* Coordinate team activities, including those involving agency contract staff, to ensure efficient operations.
* Assist supervisors or managers in their day‐to‐day accounting activities within the special services department.
* Support the design, review, and implementation of accounting processes and procedures.
* Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards.
* Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to streamline accounting workflows and enhance efficiency.
Minimum Education

Diploma's degree or equivalent. Additional coursework in accounting and finance preferred.

Minimum Experience
* For Associate level, no prior experience is required.
* For Standard level, at least two (2) years of related work experience in accounting or finance environment.
* For Senior level, four (4) years of related work experience in accounting or finance environment.
