Overview
The opportunity: Join us as a Contract Manager and support our Sales & Marketing and Project Execution within our Transformer Business Unit. You contribute to the successful performance of Contract Management with an analytical, hands-on and autonomous approach. You are a reliable partner for the preparation of contracts, contract administration, and project execution, working with interfaces such as Sales, Supply Chain and Project execution.

How you'll make an impact
* You must ensure the portfolio of contracts in the business follows contract and claim management methodologies in accordance with internal standard procedures.
* You will review and comment on commercial and technical tender terms and conditions, analyze prime contract terms to highlight areas of potential opportunity and risk (ambiguities, omissions, conflicts) as work proceeds, and cooperate with legal to draft, negotiate and finalize agreements during the Sales and Project Execution phases.
* You will support Sales in RR preparation and support contractual sessions, working closely with local legal when involved and with the tendering team.
* You will identify the contract baseline (including terms and conditions, specifications, drawings, estimate, proposal, schedule and other documents incorporated in the contract) and highlight areas of potential risk; ensure timely and accurate execution of commercial aspects (payments, claims, variation orders, warranties, provisions, guarantees, etc.).
* You will verify that both parties to the contract have fulfilled their obligations and there are no outstanding responsibilities; assess contract success and identify lessons learned for future contracting; document and communicate any deficiencies found as part of closeout.
* You will develop contract management competence with other functions by conducting pragmatic training periodically.
* You will provide guidance and leadership on contract management-related matters to cross-department teams, participate in claim negotiations, and provide professional support for purchasing activities ensuring flow down of customer terms and conditions to vendors.

* You will ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Qualifications
* A degree in law or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant field (Risk Management / Contract Management / Legal / Commercial Role).
* Extensive experience in contract management functions and processes in EPC energy projects or similar industrial plants or manufacturing of complex industrial products; experience in internationally staffed teams and with international contractual partners preferred.
* Solid experience in contract negotiation, change management, claim management and contract-related legal issues; understanding the effects in tendering and project execution.
* Strong communication skills; ability to work with diverse cultures and teams; ethical conduct; systematic and structured work style; flexibility and adaptability.
* Result-oriented, proactive, collaborative, solutions-oriented; strong written and verbal English communication skills.
* Advanced English skill.
