Ventia has secured the Victorian Road Maintenance Contracts for the Grampians and Eastern Metropolitan regions. Commencing 1 July 2026, Ventia will deliver comprehensive road maintenance, emergency response and minor capital works, reinforcing its role as a long‐term partner supporting safe and reliable road networks across Victoria.
About the Role
Ventia's Transport Infrastructure Solutions business is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join the team. The Maintenance Manager leads the delivery of routine, planned and reactive road maintenance activities across an assigned section of the road network. The role is responsible for ensuring assets are maintained to standard, hazards are managed promptly and crews operate safely in a live traffic environment. You will provide direct leadership to supervisors, inspectors and field teams while working closely with planning, construction and safety functions to deliver coordinated outcomes.
Role Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate road maintenance delivery activities
* Manage supervisors, inspectors and operational resources
* Ensure defects and hazards are addressed within required timeframes
* Drive safety leadership and quality outcomes
* Coordinate works with planning and support teams
About You
* Experience leading road maintenance or civil operations
* Strong people leadership capability
* Practical understanding of maintenance delivery in live environments
* White Card and driver's licence
* Supervisory experience in either Road Maintenance, Operations or Construction field
* Good understanding of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
* Good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel
