As the Support Officer for the Office of Ministerial Correspondence, you will be instrumental in providing coordination, communication, administrative and project support to our General Counsel. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient diary management, managing internal and external correspondence, and supporting reporting will be crucial to our team's success.This is a permanent full time role, location flexible. You can work from where you are most productive, whether that be from your home or one of our offices, however, there may be times where you are required in the office.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide efficient diary management for the General Counsel, organising meetings with stakeholdersAssist with general administration tasks and support the team as requiredPrepare high-quality documents, reports, letters, and submissionsCoordinate travel, accommodation, and reconcile monthly expensesPlan and coordinate internal and external meetings, including agenda preparation and minute-takingEnsure the General Counsel is prepared for meetings, workshops and eventsReview and respond to incoming correspondence on behalf of the General CounselAnalyse information to support the General Counsel in their roleCoordinate required reporting and provide insights and analysisMonitor and report progress towards organisational risk mitigationsSupport the management of project work that aligns with strategic objectivesProvide secretarial support to projects led by the General CounselSkills & ExperienceTertiary qualifications in business, management or relevant field experienceExperience supporting senior leaders and building relationships with stakeholdersStrong research, analysis and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage sensitive information and maintain confidentialityProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other analytic toolsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamSuccessful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check.To be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or hold a valid medical exemption certificate.
