We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to support site reliability and electrical maintenance across a highly automated production facility.
This role sits within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing site operating advanced automation, robotics, and PLC-driven equipment. You'll work as part of a supportive maintenance team that prioritises safety, communication, and problem-solving. Shift Pattern:
Monday - Friday - 14:*******:*******% Loading
OR
Monday to Friday | 22:*******:*******% Loading
Overtime opportunities at x1.5 and Double Time throughout the week and at weekends.
You are also required to work 2 Saturdays per month.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to electrical breakdowns and troubleshoot automation, PLC, and high-speed machinery faults.
Perform preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across plant equipment.
Conduct electrical isolations, testing, repairs, and safety compliance checks.
Support production with technical expertise to resolve equipment issues efficiently.
Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects.
Maintain accurate documentation, job cards, and CMMS work orders.
Ensure all electrical work meets WHS, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate closely with mechanical trades, production operators, and engineering teams.
Candidate Requirements:
Trade-qualified Electrician with current electrical licence.
Experience in manufacturing, packaging, food, or similar high-speed automated environments.
Strong fault-finding ability with PLC-controlled machinery (Siemens/Allen-Bradley highly regarded).
Solid understanding of safety systems, isolations, and lockout procedures.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a cross-functional maintenance team.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation.
