Role Overvie
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in test automation and a solid understanding of Payments and Finance domains, particularly Card Issuing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through a combination of automated and manual testing practices
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
* Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.
* Perform manual testing to validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
* Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
* Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and DevOps teams.
* Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
* Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
* Support CI/CD testing activities and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
* Work with Git for source control and test automation code management.
* Utilize AWS environments for testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
* Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices within payment processing and issuing systems.
Required Skills Technical Skills
* Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript for test automation.
* Hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
* Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management.
* Experience with Git version control.
* Working knowledge of AWS services and cloud-based environments.
* Experience with API testing and integration testing.
Domain Knowledge
* Strong knowledge of Payments and Financial Services applications.
* Experience with Card Issuing, Payment Processing, Transaction Lifecycle, or related financial systems.
* Understanding of payment flows, authorization, settlement, reconciliation, and transaction processing is highly desirable.
