About The Role
As a Support Worker, you will be one of the most influential people in your clients' life. Your role will be diverse and challenging and will involve direct care for clients in settings such as houses, schools, hospitals, community centres and emergency accommodation.
Your Daily Tasks Can Include
* Building a relationship with the people you are caring for.
* Providing around the clock care to participants, following a structured routine developed specifically for their needs.
* Administering medication.
* Transporting the people in our care to and from school, day programmes and appointments.
* Assisting in the implementation of programmes designed for the development of the client.
* Report writing.

* Start with completing a paid Induction program including the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) course delivered by an accredited provider.

* Following the successful completion of the probationary period, you can enrol in a CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services with our partnered RTO BIAE (RTO no 45241). Upon enrolment, you may receive up to 8 units of credit based on satisfactory completion of the induction requirements and your performance during probation.

About You — Essential Criteria
* Current Working with Children Check (for paid employment – can be obtained via https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-working-children-check).
* Current NDIS Worker Check (can be obtained via https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/ndiswc-apply).
* Current First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid; Course Code HLTAID011).
* National Police Check (this must be obtained via https://www.employmentscreeninggroup.com/au/).
* A current driver's licence (minimum of P2).
* A vehicle that can transport upwards of 4 people.
* Comprehensive Car Insurance.
* Certificate of Completion: NDIS Worker Orientation Module (can be accessed via: https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/).
* Ability to work a 7‐day shift work roster.
* Willingness to participate in pre‐employment medical checks.
* Two professional references.
