About AIC Mines and the Opportunity
AIC Mines is entering an exciting period of growth across our North West Queensland operations, with Jericho Mine staging into production over the coming months. As we ramp up activity and prepare for this next stage, we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced and motivated underground mining professionals who want to be part of a growing copper business.
Located near Cloncurry in North West Queensland, Eloise Copper Mine is an established underground operation producing high-grade copper concentrate. Together with the development of Jericho, Eloise forms an important part of AIC Mines' growth strategy and offers the opportunity to join a strong operational team focused on safety, teamwork, performance, and continuous improvement.
Underground Mining Roles
With increased activity across Eloise and Jericho, we are looking for safety‐focused, reliable people who are ready to contribute in a practical, hands‐on underground mining environment across roles such as:
* Underground Shift Supervisors
* Bogger Operators
* Charge Up Operators
* Service Crew
* Nippers

* 2 weeks on 2 weeks off roster

* FIFO options with point of hire from Townsville or Brisbane
* Local candidates from Cloncurry or surrounding communities can commute via bus from Cloncurry and are encouraged to apply
About You
We are interested in hearing from candidates who have relevant underground mining experience, skills, licences, tickets, and qualifications.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
* A strong commitment to safety and following site procedures
* Relevant tickets, licences, qualifications, or underground mining experience for the role
* A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
* Reliability, accountability, and good communication skills
* Experience in underground mining or a similar operational environment
* A commitment to maintaining a respectful and inclusive workplace
