We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our Distribution Centre based in Willawong, QLD.
As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end operations of the Willawong Distribution Centre, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate warehousing and distribution outcomes. This role requires an experienced operator who will drive performance, and optimise a high volume, partially automated DC leveraging Microsoft Business Central with Advanced Warehousing.
A National Police Check is required for this position.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Warehouse or Distribution Manager in a large-scale DC
* Strong hands-on experience with ERP/WMS systems (ideally Business Central Advanced Warehousing)
* Ability to manage high-volume operations with automation elements
* Demonstrated leadership of medium to large teams (30+ staff)
* Strong understanding of inventory control, replenishment, and warehouse processes
* Track record of improving operational performance and efficiency.
Highly Desirable
* Experience implementing or optimising warehouse systems (e.g., BC, WMS, RF, automation)
* Exposure to healthcare, FMCG, or multi-channel distribution environments
* Lean/continuous improvement experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team to manage warehouse efficiencies in line with KPI’s
* Lead daily DC operations including receiving, put away, replenishment, picking, packing, and dispatch
* Ensure service levels are consistently achieved across customer channels
* Drive labour productivity and optimise workforce planning aligned to demand
* Maintain high operational discipline and process adherence
* Ensure inventory accuracy through robust cycle count and stock management processes
* Support ongoing system enhancements and integration with warehouse automation
* Identify opportunities to improve picking efficiency and reduce manual handling
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, KPI-driven performance improvement)
* Drive standardisation of best practices across the DC.
