Lead Southern Region Ambulance operations, overseeing daily services in a fast‐paced environment focused on safety, effectiveness and excellence.
The Team:
The Operations Supervisor team at Ambulance Tasmania provides strong operational leadership, ensuring safe, effective, and timely emergency responses across the state. It is a fast‐paced, high‐impact environment focused on excellence, safety and continuous improvement.
The Role:
Undertake an operational management role in overseeing the day‐to‐day activities of Northern Region Ambulance Services.
You will need to:
* Provide operational leadership by overseeing day‐to‐day service delivery, coordinating responses, and ensuring operational standards and KPI's are met.
* Manage and support staff through performance oversight, wellbeing support, mentoring, and effective communication across shifts and regions.
* Coordinate and manage complex incidents, including major incidents and planned events, ensuring appropriate resource allocation and interagency collaboration.

Salary:
$156,149 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Ambulance Tasmania Agreement 2022.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
* Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum

Essential Criteria:
* Registered with the Paramedicine Board of Australia
* Holds a Bachelor of Paramedic Science or other qualification approved by the Service and relevant work experience with an additional qualification in management or equivalent
* Current Driver's Licence
