They are seeking a Cadet Building Surveyor to join their team — ideal for someone currently studying or close to completing a Building Surveying (or related) degree and looking to gain hands‐on industry experience.
About the Role
You will work closely with experienced Building Surveyors, gaining exposure across the full project lifecycle — from plan assessments through to site inspections and certification. This is an excellent opportunity to build your technical knowledge and develop toward registration.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with building permit assessments and documentation reviews
* Support site inspections and compliance checks
* Learn to interpret and apply the National Construction Code (NCC)
* Assist with preparing reports and certification documentation
* Liaise with clients, builders, and internal stakeholders
* Support senior surveyors across a range of projects
About You
* Currently studying or close to completing/finished a Building Surveying degree
* Strong interest in building compliance and legislation
* Basic understanding of the NCC (desirable)
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* High attention to detail and willingness to learn
* Proactive, reliable, and motivated to build a long‐term career
